Before the top Color and Young Talent were crowned for Wella Professionals' 2011 International Trend Vision Awards, we caught a glimpse into what the next year holds for the haircolor brand. Dreamt up by global creative directors Eugene Souleiman and Josh Wood, the 2012 Trend Vision Trends fuse color and cut into forward-thinking segments. Next year, it's all about leading ladies. Fiery BLAZE embodies the Latin femme fatale with precisely lacquered hair in a short, sharp cut with haute accents, like fuchsia and muted pink swirls of color. Natural GRACE embraces understated glamour; she's the modern muse with long, lush buttery blonde hair that feels both authentic and luxurious. Otherworldly CELESTE is light-years ahead, her visionary haircolor and style perfect for the fashion-forward set. Her luminous hair is perfectly pure with hints of lavender, rose gold and pearly blonde. Finally, scene-stealing ROXY (pictured above) vibes with the '70s, yet amps up the drama for today with bold volume and extreme berry haircolor. "Berry is the new red!" thrills Wood. We agree, and can't wait to see Wella's passionate troops of worldwide haircolorists interpret these four trends, BLAZE, GRACE, CELESTE and ROXY, for next year's International Trend Vision Competition! —Karie L.
